Ice Storm
The south fork got off light on the last two storms compared with most of the north east, we mostly got rain. The tip of Long Island's temperature is often moderated by the large bodies of water around it. This means that the weather out here is a little warmer in the winter than the rest of Long Island and cool in the summer from the same effect.
