Just a Short Break

The sun was out this morning and the Peconic Bay looked amazing.

The sun broke through here this afternoon and we had a nice sunset over Lake Agawam.

It was a tight fit getting the new and old washers in and out of the cellar. Expecting this I took the hand rail down before delivery. Good thing, not an inch to spare.

I found the choice of a handy cap ramp to these steps very funny.

I later saw bigger bunches of Snow Drops, but this was the first I saw this year.

Back to Work

 

Home sick with a cold, it is time to get back to work. This old maple illustrates the idea that branches on a tree trunk never move up, the just spread out. Early branches might drop off thus creating higher branches, that did not happen here. 

Come Back

Winter returned last night with about 4 inches of snow and some big wind. This flooded gutter sort of summed it up.

 

Spring Break

It's the first day of spring and the buds on my lilac are starting to swell.
