Beaches in the Hamptons seem to shrink & grow with the seasons. The recent storms seem to have expanded the beach at Cryder this month.

Pasta Salad

I like to arrange my dry pasta in a bowl before boiling so it is less likely to stick together when it goes in the water. This is a mix of white & tomato spaghetti.

Quick Chick Fix

To truss up this chicken I used a section of wood skewer. Very quick and no stitching needed.

 

 

The stick secured the cornbread mushroom stuffing with no drips.

East Hampton Moores

Visiting this home on Further Lane in East Hampton was a treat. Set in the rolling dunes of East Hampton with a private trail through the dunes to the beach, what a great life.

Storm's Eye

The weather today was forecast as heavy rain all day. At around 1:00 today the sky cleared and we had good sun for about 20 minutes then the rain came back full force.
