Saturday night we got about 5 inches of rain. It came down as a wall of water. Many streets flooded in the morning. This trench opened in my front yard.

Divided Bay
The race you can see off in the distance is the point where Robin's Island separates the great Peconic Bay from the Peconic Bay.

Clearing
Yesterday morning I heard a buzzing in my back yard. I was delighted to see that my neighbor to the south is clearing out some trees. Yea- more sun for my pool.

Gale Force
Last night a big storm passed just east of us. Today we had very strong winds and a rocking surf. I caught this wave at sunset.

Lost Dune
A short section on road that connected Gin Lane to Meadow Lane used to be named Dune Road. With all the larger dune roads in other towns it was decided to eliminate the Southampton Village Dune Road and extend Meadow Lane.

Crash Landing
