There seems to be a growing niche of photography that explores their work in the school of color field painting. These artists are more interested in the blocks of color than in the subject of the photograph.

Southampton Village resident Robert Lohman's Paintings and Photography. The paintings range in size from 2 FT Square up to 4 FT X 5 FT. The photography is typically produced in the 3 FT to 6 FT range with exceptions for special projects.
