This garden on Elm Street has a nice mix of summer phlox and tiger lilys. The colors zing! Tiger lilys are also know as turk's cap lilys. The turk's cap grows wild in parts on New England. I have tried to grow these lilies in my garden with limited success, very frustrating.

Corn's Edge
We have lots of corn fields planted right to the edge of the road. Most of these fields are cow corn. This corn is grown to feed farm animals like cows. The ears on this corn are not as prominent as the ears on people corn. This corn is chopped up whole and all the parts are fed. A wide patch of cow corn can be used to hide other crops that people do like.

Compay
When I went out to my car this morning I found a new guest in the yard. I had suspected her existence due to many signs around the property before our meeting. She seemed very relaxed about my intruding on her grounds.

Twist
This section of bittersweet vine must have started out as a thin branch twisting up the fence for a ladder. The vine got thicker & thicker over the years as it climbed up into the trees. After getting cut, just this section remains.

Weekend Special
There is a new art show in Southampton this weekend. This is not last weekends show or the show from the week before that. This is a very international show in a HUGE air conditioned tent on the grounds of the Elk Club. The show is excellent and for a price you can take it all home!

Beach Kites
There was a nice selection of Kites at Old Town Beach this past weekend. Some if the kites had long tails that twisted and twirled.
