After over a week on the road there was a bit of a mess in the back seat!

Garden Fire

Three years after I planted it, my smoke bush has decided to bloom, what a treat.

New like Old

 

Barn style. Most of the barns in our area are potato barns. Long low structures designed to resemble root cellars for the storage of tubers. This restored barn on the grounds of the Southampton Historical Society is intended for dry airy above ground storage.



Hampton Valley

Prior to going away I stock up on Hamptons photos. At times I post a photo of where I am. This sunset is actually in the Hudson Valley.

Winter Survivor

I was told that this bloom is on a Lemon Magnolia, the scent was exceptional. This was a rough winter for Magnolias.

Red Car

The Fourth of July also marks the start of hedge trimming season. You can just spot a bit of red through the right hand section of this perfect hedge.

What to Expect

With flowers like this it is worth the wait.
