Cool & Quiet

All Quiet

The Atlantic was so flat today it was almost bay like, except that it still had the deep energy of an ocean.

White on White

The local florist Pennington had these fine arrangements poised to go out. Peonies and Baby'-Breath made up most of the white.

Lite Shade

I have mounted a sun-sail over my outdoor table. It gives a nice bit of shade at times. The sale seems OK in most summer weather. Ikea $ 29.00, custom shades run into the thousands.

Mystery Plant

These purple flowers growing wild on the road side look like peas, but might be vetch a ground cover popular in the south.

Pool Color

When building a pool a lot of thought goes into selecting a color for the sides of the pool. Most pools used to be white, the blue tone came from the sky. Most pools now are a darker tone so the sun heats them faster. I started with a dark gray, time and chemicals have faded it to medium gray.
