Quick Fix

These pots are bedded out with annuals in the summer for a full bloom. In winter they look barren. Poking some holly cuttings in the potting soil dresses them up. I will let you know how they last.

It turns out there are many structures in the Southampton beach that are now revealed. It will be interesting to see if the winter storms replace some of the sand taken away by Sandy.

Quick Fix

I was lucky to get this pot dressed with holly cuttings before the cold snap hit and set the earth rock hard.
