State of the Art
This modern residential basement shows how utilities have changed. The small white box on the left is the furnace. Red lines are hot water, blue lines are cold water. Most rooms have direct runs to the cellar so water can be turned off as needed.

Something New
These exotic blue & purple berries are from a vine called Porcelianberry. The vines are very sturdy and seem difficult to pull once established.

Another Beach Day
This afternoon we walked down to Cryder Beach, then along the coast and returned back home from South Main Beach. The beach at sunset was sublime.

Great Surf
It is rare to see the surf breaking this far out from the beach. I do not expect that the colder will keep all the surfers land side.
