Spray

When Sandy hit the East End we got a lot of wind but not much rain. When this happens salt spray kicked up from crashing waves is blown up to a mile inland. If the is no rain the salt spray burns the leaves. This damage often does not show till a week or so later. This hedge shows that one side took the brunt of the salt spray. The privot hedge seems to recover from this. Some other plants have a harder time of it.
