I had the opportunity to visit this very nice garden in Sag Harbor. The tall tree in the center is a Monkey-puzzle tree. This strange tree made of spikey scales is native to Chile and Argentina.

Southampton Village resident Robert Lohman's Paintings and Photography. The paintings range in size from 2 FT Square up to 4 FT X 5 FT. The photography is typically produced in the 3 FT to 6 FT range with exceptions for special projects.

This type of tree came up in conversation during a nature tour of Kalani Retreat. Where it was suggested to be a common site in the NW.
