Furniture ar Art & Sculpture

Two benches at museums.
Neither seem to have comfort as their main objective.
For me the concrete bench at the Parrish separates the building from the ground
like the negative space of a reveal.

This rock beach in the back garden at the Bridgehampton historical museum seems more of a reference to the man made nature in a Japanese rock garden.

Movie Night at The Parrish Museum

We went to the Parrish for a movie and to see a show of photo realism paintings.
The museum also had a nice show of works by Clifford Ross.
One work is a large LED panel near reception.
a pair of LED panels of his work are also on the exterior of the building.

Some people call these Turks Cap Lilies, Some people call orange day lilies Tiger Lilies.

Reliable

The Rose-of-Sharon is a great workhorse in the garden this time of year.
I do not love the flowers, but they are hear with little effort for the gardener.

Yesterday

I like this wall of flowers in the passage on the wall of Club Monaco next to Herrick Hardware
