Old brick walkways had a curve with the center higher, this left a dry area to walk on in most any condition, old roads had this feature also, referred to as a crown.

This over grown drive is a rare site in the manicured Hamptons.

The Big Pot

In the spring this 3 foot tall pot was full of pink parrot tulips. Now it is a mass of Nasturtiums.

It seems strange to think of the tulip bulbs resting below.
