Septemberfest

This weekend the streets of Southampton Village are filled with music as they celebrate the fall festival. Food and others activities all weekend.

 

Beach Hut

This is the last weekend for the Beach Hut this season. The weather has been very good this season for waterfront eating.

Growing Wild

This old rose growing on the edge of a village parking lot had crazy rosehips from lack of pruning.

My raspberries seem to be having a rebirth. In late august they set a new batch of fruit that is coming into season now.

In Southampton Town the waterfront of a lot is the front yard and the street side the back yard, at least in zoning book.

After yesterday's rain the wind turned and the surf was brisk today with bright clear skys.

Another old house in Southampton Village is getting a new foundation. This masonry structure seems to need more steel than the frame homes I typically see lifted.
